Alert – fraudulent attempts to impersonate BNP Paribas Securities Taiwan on instant messaging channel
We have been made aware of recent attempts to impersonate BNP Paribas Securities Taiwan on instant messaging channels for fraudulent purposes, such as soliciting funds or investments.
BNP Paribas Securities Taiwan wishes to caution its clients and the general public to be alert to fraudulent attempts conducted through calls, emails, text messages or other communications channels. We remind all clients to please exercise caution before providing any personal details or making any transfer of funds and always call your BNP Paribas representative to validate the authenticity of these communications on his/her usual business contact number known to you.
If you believe you have been defrauded or that a financial institution has been impersonated, you are encouraged to report the case to the authorities:
